    Bill, seems like somewhere I saw a question about a trucking company located on route 8 at Shumway Hill. I remember a huge log building built by the Wildenstein family being located there. The Lions Club had a “Barn Dance” there in the 1980’s I think. I note that in the last paragraph of the article about the Wildenstein Log Homes I have made a comment about the log building. It has since burned. I do not remember just when though.

    The “Piano Instructor’s House” photo is the house my grandmother and grandfather, Marge and Andy Neumann, owned from the late ’50’s through the mid ’70’s, and where I grew up in Rockwell’s Mills. Wished it still looked like it did back then!
