      Dear Pat,

How are you ? Do you still remember me from Hilton Tel Aviv ?
My name was Shosh Moshe and I was working as a front desk cashier and you were doing the administration/ correspondation at the back office . Moshe Gategno was the “boss” at that time in the eighties:)
Must admit that I get a huge smile on my face when I think of the lemon juice I used to bring you from the lobby, now when I have to drink this “terrible” taste from health reasons regularly 🙂

Hope to hear how you’re doing nowadays
As about me, I still live in Holland already 25 years with my Dutch husband and we , have two daughters ….

      Best regards,
      Shosh Moshe

ps- they call me Sosha Burema here 🙂 You can also find me on Facebook 🙂

I have lived in Colorado since 1982 and just love it here. I’ve been married for almost 41 years to a wonderful woman from Gilbertville. We had two children, a girl and a boy. However we lost our son in Oct 2002 to complications of diabetes. Our daughter has blessed us with two granddaughters, ages 15 and 14. I spent 20 years in the Air Force and retired. I then worked for a small engineering company for 12 years. Then worked for the Boeing Company as an engineering manager for 10 years and retired for a second time.
We are enjoying retirement and our granddaughters.

I lived in 5 states other than NY since graduating from MUCHS in 1970 (MI, CT, PA, VA, NC). I moved back to the Mt. Upton area for the last time in the mid-1980s and decided to put down roots where I have always felt at home. I have lived in Holmesville, NY (don’t look for it on any map–we pay good money to keep it off of them!) for 18 years with my wife of 25 years and fellow empty-nester, Audrey. After a career in outside commercial sales spanning nearly 20 years, I landed in a wheelchair following a car crash and a permanent spinal cord injury that left me a paraplegic on total disability. 7 years later I have graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts in Professional Counseling degrees and hope to be working very soon as a mental health counselor in this area.

Moved to Horseheads, NY in 1985 and have been here ever since. I have one son at SUNY Fredonia and my daughter will attend SJF in Rochester in Sept. I graduated in 1980 and then served in the USAF until 1984. After being honorably discharged I began a career supporting technology development, engineering and manufacturing, and sustainment work for industry, the US Army (Special Forces), and the Communication Electronics Command in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. Along the way I earned a BS in Applied Science and Technology and have lived in New Jersey and Montana. Realizing my sole was tied to Mt. Upton, in 2000, I moved back to New Jersey for work, and purchased a home in Mt. Upton with plans to retire there. I have a wonderful wife, Scarlet, and two wonderful children from a previous marriage, a daughter Bailey and son Lester Jr., whom I am very proud to say share the same values that I grew up with. Currently, I am a Logistician and Program Manager for the US Navy’s Advance Arresting Gear Program (Redesign of the Navy’s carrier (ship) arresting cable system that catches the aircraft upon landing). I remember the days of growing up in Mt. Upton, the people, events and places like they were yesterday. Today I do everything possible to keep that time and lifestyle alive in my day-to-day life. I applaud the people who established and maintain this web site making it available for all to enjoy. Congratulations on a job well done! To all the people I knew from the 70’s and 80’s, I have vivid memories of the times we shared in and out of school as they were some of the very best times on my life. I hope you are all well and I wish you all the very best!

    Sincerely,
    Les Ward

      Les,
Impressive career! Sounds like you’ve done well. Still playing the drums?
Now that you’re back in M.U., let me know if the class of 1980 plans a reunion in the future. My work has kept me busy for the last 28 years, but by the end of 2015 I should be retired.

        Hi Marty.

Good to hear from you. I am not retired yet, so, for now I am still a part time Mt. Upton resident. If I hear of any reunion plan I will let you know. Yes, I still play the drums and also still like the band KISS and rock-n-roll. I’ll try to send in a photo of my drums, or me and the Band members of KISS from 2012.

This is a lovely idea. All MUCHS graduates should post something here. I am currently in Hamlet, NC, since 2006. Live in Chenango county for 50+ years and decided that was enough snow. Considering going farther south, to FL, in the near future. Graduated 1972. Thanks for the great website.

1966 graduate. Nuclear nomad. Worked all over the west at Department of Engergy sites as environmental and/or quality engineer. Live now in Los Lunas NM just south of Albuquerque. After years in Buffalo NY wanted to go where folks do not know what a snow shovel is. Widowed in 2011. Do not get back to the area much. Tend to go to the fingerlakes when I do. Looking forward to retirement in a couple of years. Very nice website.

I was in the class of 1984, though, my family moved to Unadilla, NY in 1980 or ’81. In 1982 my family moved to Phenix City, AL. I’ve been in the same area since. I now live in Valley, AL. I’m the office manager for a gymnastics school for children. I would love to re-connect with some of my class-mates.

This website is awesome!! 🙂 I loved seeing all the old and new pictures! Thank you to all those involved in putting it together! Great job!!
